WASHINGTON, DC, May 26, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment has announced the 2022 winners of the Peter DeSimone Student Scholarship.

The scholarship offers undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in a career in sustainable and impact investment the opportunity to attend US SIF FORUM 2022, taking place from June 6-8 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya in New Mexico. The scholarship grew out of a US SIF initiative on diversity and inclusion and is intended to both enhance the diversity of the field and introduce students to the sustainable investment industry.

Scholarship recipients receive:
• Registration for US SIF FORUM 2022, US SIF’s 11th Anniversary Conference from June 6-8, 2022, including Member Day;
• Registration for our course on the Fundamentals of Sustainable and Impact Investment;
• Lodging (shared room) for non-local participants and eligibility for travel reimbursements.

“Educating and incorporating the voices of the next generation of sustainable investing professionals is increasingly important as the field grows and evolves,” said Lisa Woll, CEO of US SIF. “We enthusiastically welcome these young scholars who have demonstrated their commitment to the field of sustainable and impacting investing during their studies. By attending US SIF FORUM 2022, these scholars will gain a deeper understanding of sustainable investing and make connections with some of the industry’s leading professionals.”

• Linda Wang – Colgate University
• Derrik Chen – Emory University
• Arafat Kabir – Johns Hopkins University
