The Sam Stiglitz Effect: Why Actors, Influencers, CEOs, Athletes, Reality Stars, and even Peleton Instructors all trust her coaching

If you want to stand out from the crowd, you can’t just be good. You have to be great — and Sam Stiglitz helps you become just that.

LA-based acting and audition coach Sam Stiglitz‘s unique approach ensures her students, who come from all walks of life, find their most unique, interesting and exciting work.

Since acting is, at its core, storytelling, Sam helps both traditional and non-traditional actors find their way into this often tricky medium by helping them tell their stories. She is known in the industry for helping people from all walks of life become actors by personalizing their approaches.

Every actor works differently, and Sam helps each to find their own acting and audition process.

Sam’s business is by referral only. She started from the ground-up six years ago, after leaving a successful career as a television casting director, and has quickly become one of the top acting coaches in the industry.

Topher Grace, a Stiglitz client and working actor who appeared as Eric Forman in the Fox sitcom That ’70s Show says:

Sam is the best kind of teacher – someone who’s actually been in the job. She’s not guessing, her advice comes from years working as a top casting director. It’s like getting lessons from a bank teller about how to rob a bank.”

Stiglitz leads actors into discovering their own freedom, to leave personal judgment behind, and to live – and act – in the moment.

She draws on her diverse experience and training to cater to the individual needs of each actor, whether they be celebrities or developing talent.

The entertainment industry craves awards and stardom, a hyped veneer that can overshadow the introspective and exacting work of acting. Some actors study at top-tier universities, while others arrive in Los Angeles with a suitcase and a pile of ambition, and enrol in acting courses. Sam Stiglitz works with them all and has become the go-to coach for actors to sharpen their skills.

A conservatory-trained actor herself, Stiglitz has worked for some of the top casting offices in Los Angeles, casting for shows such as Burn Notice, Graceland, Pretty Little Liars, School of Rock, Body of Proof, as well as numerous feature films. She is highly respected in the entertainment industry, with the top agents, managers, producers and directors referring their clients to her for coaching.

Stiglitz believes no two actors work in the same way, and her goal is to develop each actor’s unique approach that will take them from the audition to the first take.
