The Los Angeles Lakers Fan Club Has Achieved Clubhouse Success With 9,000 Followers and Counting!

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 17, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — This Clubhouse is not just for backyards anymore. The Clubhouse audio-only app has become a godsend for Sports fans everywhere. During a time when the pandemic left many sheltering in place, the Clubhouse app has provided an outlet for fans that would prefer to be cheering at a live game or exchanging “friendly” banter at a sports bar.

What started as a simple stage to watch LA Lakers games turned into one of the largest Sports Fan clubs on the Clubhouse app. The Los Angeles Lakers Fan Club, founded by Anthony McKnight aka Krispy Lakers Nation, has already grown to over 9,000 fans. Sponsored by The Profanity Nation, the official Podcast for the Fan Club, The Los Angeles Lakers Fan club has catapulted the Clubhouse audio-only experience to the next level.

As an enterprise, this successful partnership is a model for entrepreneurs hoping to achieve the large following of Krispy and The Profanity Nation. Recognizing the LA Lakers Fan Club’s global audience reaches fans as far as Siberia, Pakistan, Johannesburg and the Philippines, Sean Brown, head of sports partnerships for the Clubhouse app, recently congratulated Krispy for the impact The Los Angeles Lakers Fan Club has made on the platform.

There are three key factors that make the Los Angeles Lakers Fan Club such a huge success. First, there’s the exceptional teamwork amongst the moderators and the group administrations. The second key to success is the shared passion for the Lakers Franchise, the NBA, and the community of loyal fans. Jeff ‘Simsta’ Sims of The Profanity Nation podcast gives us the final key… “It’s the ultimate conversation for the professional fan that goes beyond any sports newscast or highlight reel. Not only do we discuss the game, but we delve into topics from behind the curtain, the music, the officiating and even player injury reports.”

Dr. Randy Chan, a co-founder of the LA Lakers Fan Club and the resident physical therapist, is on hand to provide insight into the Lakers’ medical state of affairs. In addition, Marco Nuñez, former head athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Lakers, appears weekly on The Profanity Nation Podcast to provide status on the current league injuries. On any given day, a number of reporters, athletes and team professionals are likely to drop-in to the Fan Club. Guest interviews influential figures include President Obama’s medical team, esteemed Lakers Family members Christy Buss, Robert Horry, and an exclusive first interview with Lebron James’ mother, Gloria James!

All sports fans are welcome to the LA Lakers Clubhouse room, not just Lakers fans. However, team bashing and (ironically) “profanity” are not tolerated. In order to keep the room PG-13, violators are fined in cash and all proceeds benefit the Fan Club’s official 501(c) nonprofit organization. With these funds, single parents and their children, are gifted tickets to Lakers home games. This past July, the LA Lakers fan club and The Profanity Nation, provided tickets to a lucky Club member for Game 6 of the NBA playoffs at the Staples Center. A long-time Lakers fan and ICU Charge Nurse in Los Angeles was able to take her grandson to his first Lakers game thanks to their generous donations. Be sure to support The Profanity Nation and LA Lakers Fan Club on the Clubhouse app.
