AUSTIN – August is National Breastfeeding Awareness Month. This year’s theme is “Every Step of the Way” which goes hand in hand with the mission of My Pure Delivery, a lactation clinic based in North Austin.
My Pure Delivery is a team of ten International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) across their two Texas locations in Cedar Park and Plano. As an in-network provider with most major insurance companies, they provide accessible lactation support and education for growing families both locally and via HIPAA secure telehealth nationwide. The company’s goal is to empower, educate and support growing families along every step of their breastfeeding journey and beyond.
In honor of Breastfeeding Awareness Month, My Pure Delivery is showing support by hosting events, giveaways and giving back to the community. To kick off the month-long celebration, they are hosting an online prenatal yoga class, taught by one of their own employees who is also a certified yoga instructor. Prenatal yoga aligns with the “Every Step of the Way” theme, by promoting maternal self care and healthy, safe movement during pregnancy. My Pure Delivery is dedicated to supporting growing families from the start, and encourages overall maternal health and wellness. Their motto is “healthy babies start with healthy mothers.”
Additionally, My Pure Delivery is offering a free, on-demand one hour breastfeeding class for families to learn more about breastfeeding, and set themselves up to achieve the breastfeeding relationship they desire. For families desiring more education, My Pure Delivery also offers monthly live-streamed, interactive prenatal classes. For Breastfeeding Month, they are doing a Prenatal Class Bundle giveaway, which includes their five star rated Breastfeeding Basics, Newborn Care, and Infant CPR & Safety classes.
