As the US cannabis industry continues to grow, the newly launched Hot Sheet provides cultivators and processors with access to weekly leads in their area, allowing them to focus their efforts on dispensaries that have an active requirement.
Since its legalization in 2012, the cannabis industry in Washington State has grown at an exponential rate. Sales in the sector were worth an estimated $1.8 billion in 2020, and that figure is expected to rise to $2.12 billion in 2021.
Government regulations still require the sale of cannabis to be conducted through legal dispensaries. As an innovative service within the industry, The Sales Joint now maintains regular contact with dispensaries across the US, allowing them to alert members to new product requirements.
Known as The Hot Sheet, the new service is designed to help cannabis cultivators and associated sales teams increase revenue through targeted sales. The Sales Joint has limited membership to 30 subscribers per state in order to maintain the benefits it provides users.
Subscribers to the service are provided with log-in access to The Sales Joint portal. Every Monday, an updated list of 20 to 25 warm or hot leads in the state is uploaded. Hot leads usually refer to dispensaries that have an immediate requirement, while warm leads are those vendors who wish to add products in the near future.
In addition to dispensary name and location, The Hot List also provides details on specific products required, product price points and quality, days and times that buyers are available, sample policies and buying processes, and contact information. The service has been designed to make it as easy as possible for cultivators to introduce their products to vendors and outlets.
