PRYOR, OK, May 18, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ — Steve Locke, a respected icon in the local Pryor community, is celebrating over 30 years of serving automotive service customers. Locke has been operating in the automotive space since he was in Junior High, working several different positions in tire shops and auto parts stores, including managing service and parts departments at major car dealerships. Coming up on his third decade in the automotive service industry, he’s found his home at Pryor Chevy.
As a Master Certified Technician for over 20 years, Locke has had the pleasure of working with and ultimately building relationships with generations of people in the Pryor area. Building relationships and getting to know his customers are the most rewarding parts of his career.
Helping people is the driving force that motivates him. According to Locke, bringing joy to a customer makes all of the hard work worthwhile. “If you do not love people, you cannot do this job,” Locke states.

Locke also believes in the importance of being transparent and upfront with customers to help them make an informed decision regarding their vehicle. A self-described “straight-shooter”, he strongly believes that honesty is always the best policy. Locke’s goal is to make sure his people are taken care of. As said by Locke, “I will treat you with respect and serve you while I’m doing it.”
It is easy to see why Steve Locke doesn’t have customers but has friends- some of which have followed him in his career for over 25 years. According to Locke, “If I can make my customers my friend, when we have a problem it’s not an issue; they have full trust and know I’ve got it, and will make it right.”
