Tan acquired numerous qualifications, which include Certified Practitioner of Projective Drawing – Art in Assessment, Buteyko Method, Breath Workshop, Seven Point Mind Training Meditation, Certified Floral Art/Tutor, Diploma in Event Management, Foundation Course of Child Psychology, and Certified Practitioner of Art in Therapy.
She also offers therapeutic interventions using the visual arts, including sculpture, painting, drawing, sand, and play for mental health diagnosis, early intervention, developmental disorders, wellbeing, and more. As an art therapist, Tan strives to help people to resolve conflicts, build interpersonal skills, handle behaviour, minimise stress, boost self-esteem, and accomplish insight.
“Through making and creating art, healing can start. Art offers the channel to gain insight into our behaviour, to express our emotions, and process difficult problems,” said Tan.
Every art therapy session is tailored to the particular needs of the individual or group. Private sessions are performed on-site at 360 Wellness Hub, and programs are delivered in community settings. Individual consultation sessions range from sixty to ninety minutes in length, depending upon particular needs.
