October 18, 2022 – BRAINERD, MINNESOTA – Two-time GRAMMY® Award-nominee and Billboard Music Award winner Skillet is making an unprecedented return as the rock headliner at the country and rock festival Lakes Jam in June 2023.
Known as one of the best-selling rock bands in the country, Skillet has sold over 12 million albums worldwide. Their single, “Monster” from Awake is “one of the most streamed rock-songs of all time” with over 3 billion streams across all digital platforms. Skillet played Lakes Jam in 2017, and after an astounding performance and avid requests from fans, is the only act to be invited back to play the festival for a second time. Their performance will take place on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 10:00 p.m. on the Bud Light Main Stage.

Lakes Jam is celebrating its 10th anniversary with nearly 30 rock and country artists on 4 stages during the 4 day festival which attracted over 30,000 attendees in 2022. In addition to seeing some of the hottest country and rock bands in the nation, Jammers will also have access to outdoor entertainment including watercross, drifting, lawn mower racing, poker tournaments, mud trucks and a bean bag tourney / costume contest. Campers can bring their ATVs, UTVs and golf carts with the required ATV pass for transportation around the 600 acre Brainerd International Raceway grounds.
