Singapore startup Affyn is on a mission to bring friends and family closer

Affyn is a platform that helps to bring friends and family closer and build stronger bonds.

Affyn was created with the purpose of bringing people together. They believe that togetherness is the one thing that truly enriches the lives of people all around the world.

Statistics have shown that about one in three adults experienced feelings of loneliness worldwide, and its impact has been increasing at an alarming rate. Studies has found that loneliness and social isolation has become a serious public health issue globally, where it negatively affects a person’s physical, emotional and mental health.

With unique and fun activities in both the real and virtual world, Affyn aspires to become the bridge to facilitate users getting together with their friends and family, helping them build meaningful connection on a deeper level.

Through the virtual world, users will also be able to earn attractive rewards such as an overseas trip with their friends and family. The attractiveness of these rewards will be determined through an algorithm based on the size and composition of the group completing the activities. As certain activities will have specific constraints like completion with a friend or family member, this will encourage users to initiate get-togethers with their friends and family.

In a world of endless distraction, Affyn wants to remind people what’s truly important in their lives; the moments and bonds with their friends and family.
