Scissors & Scotch Makes Prestigious List Highlighting the Nation’s Hottest Brands

KANSAS CITY, MO / ACCESSWIRE / May 2, 2022 / Scissors & Scotch, a men’s grooming franchise offering high-quality haircuts and top-shelf cocktails, is honored to be included in Entrepreneur’s Top 150 New and Emerging Franchises list. Scissors & Scotch is ranked in the top tier among other rising stars that began franchising in the last five years.

The companies on the list are ranked based on scores they received during the Franchise 500 Evaluation, which looks at 150 data points, including costs and fees, size and growth, franchisee support, brand strength, and financial strength and stability.

“It’s really exciting to see our brand included on this kind of list this early in our development,” says Co-Founder Erik Anderson, “We just started franchising in 2017, and it’s taken off so much in the last few years. We are eager to continue to grow and bring on more great franchisees who believe in the model like we do.”

Anderson, along with Sean Finley and Tanner Wiles, founded Scissors & Scotch in 2015 after noticing a lack of quality men’s grooming options. The company has now grown to 19 locations with 10 more under development and scheduled to open by the end of the year. Not one Scissors & Scotch location closed permanently during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are in a period we like to call high-growth mode,” says Co-Founder Tanner Wiles. “When we first started the company, we focused on the culture we were building from the corporate office to each of our shops. It’s really important to us to maintain that stellar culture as we expand.”

The men’s grooming market continues to grow within the recession-resistant beauty industry. Men are becoming more selective when it comes to self-care.
