Onecare Health – Advanced Practice Health & Wellness

Staten Island has a new urgent care, chiropractic center, and medi-spa.

Staten Island has a brand new, state-of-the-art urgent care in the Port Richmond neighborhood. OneCare Health-Advanced Practice Health & Wellness is located at 97 Port Richmond Avenue. The facility is open seven days a week and operates from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays. On the weekends the clinic is open from 9am to 5pm. The addition of this clinic allows residents of Staten Island and surrounding areas access to COVID-19 testing, COVID-19 vaccines, telemedicine, urgent care services, chiropractic care, medi-spa services, and much more. “I am excited to be able to give back to the community that raised me and bridge the gap between healthcare barriers,” said Dr. Carlos M. Barrera, managing partner, and executive director.

The owners of the new clinic began to establish the practice in 2020, working towards the goal of providing patients with excellent care that is also cost-effective, all under one roof. Dr. Carlos M. Barrera, Timothy A. Aldrich MSN, AGACNP-BC, and Christian DeFournoy MSN, FNP all brought their healthcare experiences together to build an innovative and unique practice on Staten Island. OneCare Health-Advanced Practice Health & Wellness services’ include urgent care services, chiropractic care, medi-spa services, wellness care, and pain management.

“Since the 90s, I knew that someday I’d own my medical practice, it was my dream, my passion, and now it’s my reality,” said Timothy A. Aldrich MSN, AGACNP-BC, managing partner and clinical director.

Additionally, the clinic serves a need within the Staten Island community for access to multilingual medical care. Speakers of Spanish, Italian, Tagalog, American Sign Language (ASL), and Haitian-Creole now have the ability to speak with healthcare providers in their native language. This new facility also offers much-needed Veterans Affairs (VA) services to the region, as an authorized VA urgent care center.

OneCare Health-Advanced Practice & Wellness accepts most major insurances. There are also options for patients who are uninsured through affordable self-pay options. The clinic accepts walk-in visits, there is no appointment necessary for patients to get same-day immediate care. OneCare Health-Advanced Practice Health & Wellness is making its footprints in the healthcare arena by serving well over 1000’s of patients thus far. Some of the clinic’s clientele includes A-list celebrities, high profile executives and political figures. The company is on track with projections to open its second location in Queens, NY by 2023 and its third location in Jersey City, NJ by 2025.
