Matt Oakley’s Celebratory “Party on 95”

If life is a highway, Matt Oakley is making the most of the ride with his new single, “Party on 95.” “Party on 95’ is exactly what you’d expect—a road trip anthem. The message is simple: don’t wait until you reach your destination to start having fun. Crank up your favorite tunes, roll the windows down, and make it a party on I-95.

For Oakley, the song isn’t just about reaching a destination—it’s about celebrating the journey. The track is a high-energy road trip anthem that captures the thrill of cruising up and down Interstate 95, enjoying the ride as much as the place you're headed.

“‘Party on 95’ is exactly what it sounds like," explains Oakley. "A road trip anthem I wrote about all the times me and my buddies packed up the truck to hit Florida for spring break. The song is about not waiting until you get to your location to start the party. Turn on your favorite songs and roll the windows down, it’s a party on Interstate 95.”

A true reflection of his upbringing, Oakley’s “Party on 95” is a nod to his east coast roots. Raised in a military family, Oakley’s life took him up and down the I-95 corridor, from Maryland to Virginia to Rhode Island. Later, he attended college in South Carolina and eventually settled in Florida. “Party on 95” follows Oakley’s emotional release “Soldier’s Son,” a heartfelt tribute to his Army father and Gold Star families.

With a father in the military and a mother from Alabama, Oakley’s upbringing laid the foundation for his career as a touring country artist. As he rises through the ranks, he’s already shared the stage with stars like Big & Rich, Bailey Zimmerman, 3 Doors Down, and Demun Jones, and collaborated in the studio with industry heavyweights such as David Ray Stevens (known for his work with Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson) and Phil Mosley.

Known for his compelling storytelling and blending southern rock with country and pop influences, Oakley has already racked up over 2 million streams on Spotify alone. His recent hits, “Can’t Take The Dogs” and “Single This Summer,” have generated buzz across the country music world, earning features on CMT, The Heartland Network, and CountryLine TV. The songs have collectively garnered around 200,000 views on YouTube, and Oakley has earned editorial support from Spotify with placements on the “Fresh Finds Country” and “All New Country” playlists.
