IT was meant to be a fun filled adventure for 21 year old Hanyusha Sundramoorthi ('Hany') when she and her friends visited the waterpark at Bertam, Penang island in Malaysia. Instead, Hany suffered severe injuries and broke three of her teeth as a result of an accident when she and her friends decided to use one of the slides at the Waterpark.
Hany and her friends boarded a slide however at the middle juncture of the slide, their float became stuck. Panicked Hany and her friends screamed for help.
Soon after new riders who came down at great speed crashed into Hany and her friends followed by another batch. The crashes smashed Hany's teeth breaking three of them and causing injuries to her friends.
Soonafter the management were notified and eventually Hany and her friends were free and had to rush to the hospital in her own vehicle. The initial shock and pain were overwhelming for Hany. As she emerged from the slide, she felt a surge of panic and confusion wash over her. The once joyous atmosphere faded into a blur as she grappled with the reality of her situation. With blood trickling from her mouth and her teeth shattered, Hany's heart sank as she realized the extent of her injuries.
