Dr. Hans Müller, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of eToro Germany, today announced the official launch and live deployment of his AI-powered quantitative trading system. The system, which now stably manages over €5 billion in assets, has achieved an average monthly return exceeding 30%, drawing widespread attention in the fintech community.
The AI system was developed over five years and integrates artificial intelligence, machine learning, adaptive risk control algorithms, and multi-factor analysis models. It simultaneously covers both the stock and cryptocurrency markets, enabling 24/7 automated trading, self-optimizing strategies, and real-time risk alerts. By leveraging deep learning to analyze global market data, the system identifies investment opportunities with precision and dynamically adjusts positions based on macroeconomic factors, achieving efficient cross-market arbitrage and trend following.
“We are entering an era of ‘intelligent capital,’” Dr. Müller stated at the press conference.
“Complex strategies once reserved for institutions are now accessible to everyday investors through intelligent systems. My goal is to democratize quantitative technology and make asset management fairer and more efficient.”
Dubbed “Germany’s No. 1 AI Trader,” Dr. Hans Müller brings 36 years of financial market experience. He formerly served as a senior strategist at Deutsche Bank and has long advised European sovereign wealth funds and family offices. He holds CFA, FRM, and CEFA certifications and is renowned for promoting the integration of fintech with real-world trading strategies.
The newly launched system not only supports traditional stock investments but also includes real-time modeling and high-frequency strategy support for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Its structure—combining self-learning, multi-strategy, and multi-market capabilities—is seen by many in the financial industry as the next-generation framework for asset management.
The system is currently being rolled out to institutional clients and select high-net-worth individuals. eToro also plans to launch a lightweight version for retail investors by mid-2025, aiming to allow more people to benefit from intelligent asset growth.
