PRESS RELEASE
Published May 13, 2024

HostColor.com upgraded its hosting service portfolio of AMD Dedicated Servers with bare-metal server configurations hosted in Texas data centers. The AMD-powered servers feature EPYC 7543 processors, high-speed NMVe SSD-based storage, and scalable RAM from 128 GB up to 512 GB. The new AMD EPYC 7543-based servers feature 1 Gbps dedicated unmetered bandwidth upgradable to 10-gigabit network bandwidth.

The AMD servers feature EPYC 7543 and are available in the company's Houston Dedicated Server section. Houston is one of the first five U.S. metropolitan markets where the cloud infrastructure provider started delivering AMD-powered servers. The others are Ashburn, Virginia; Bend, Oregon; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Dallas, Texas.

"Texas is one of HostColor's most important markets. We deliver Cloud and Semi-Managed Dedicated servers with low latency for real-time data processing and storage from Amarillo, Austin, El Paso, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio data centers. We are proud to make it possible for our Texan clients to benefit from the Semi-Managed services that improve their application delivery while saving them a lot of time and financial resources on network management and server maintenance," says HostColor's CEO Dimitar Avramov.

HostColor's customers can use Texas-based Edge Servers from DataBank's data center at 400 S Akard St in Dallas and from Lumen's data centers located at 512 SE 8th Avenue in Amarillo, 4207 Smith School Road in Austin, 3180 Irving Blvd in Dallas, 501 W. Overland Ave in El Paso, 12001 N. Freeway in Houston, and 5130 Service Center Drive in San Antonio.

All HostColor's servers, including the AMD-powered ones, are configured on-demand with an operating system or virtualization technology to establish cloud-based application environments. The HC's Edge Servers can be employed for public dedicated clouds or single-tenant or multi-tenant Dedicated Private Clouds (DCIaaS). The DCIaaS are secure, customizable, and isolated IT infrastructure solutions created on demand. They are designed with virtualization technologies such as Proxmox VE, Linux Containers (LCX), Kubernetes container orchestration, or VMware ESXi. The DCIaaS plans based on the HC's Edge Servers feature WireGuard VPN technology and high-bandwidth internet network connectivity.
