The Tactical Games (TTG), based in the US, was pleased to unveil The Tactical Games SC GTI Regional 2023. Marked by its success, the event began on the 23rd at 6:00 AM and concluded the next day at 8:30 PM on the 24th of September. It was held at 1321 Technology Dr # 101 Barnwell, SC 29812, and tactical athletes from various backgrounds joined in, contributing to its triumph. Athletes from all backgrounds were welcome to attend any Tactical Games events, and there were divisions accommodating everyone, from beginners to old veterans and elite athletes in their prime. The Tactical Games provided an opportunity for all to showcase their abilities, pushing themselves and their peers beyond their limits.
“Whether you are military, LEO, competition shooter, or civilian gun enthusiast, you can compete in The Tactical Games,” said the event’s organizers. The Tactical Games provided a venue for all shooters and athletes to compete against the best in the world, discovering weaknesses and testing gear in one of the most stressful competitive environments. Athletes were advised to book their accommodations in advance, ensuring that their sole focus upon arriving at 101 Barnwell was the challenge that lay ahead. Reservations were made through the link: Book Your Room.
Elite tactical athletes, recognized as some of the most rigorously trained individuals globally, have achieved mastery across various disciplines and peak physical condition. For beginners, attaining such a level might have seemed daunting. However, The Tactical Games offered a myriad of training programs, both in-person and online, acting as a stepping stone for those keen on participating in their inaugural TTG event.
The Tactical Games University (TGU), Athlete Camp, and Training Day were the cornerstone training initiatives by the organizers. They were tailored to merge the three pivotal skills every tactical athlete requires: marksmanship, fitness, and tactics. TGU, a 2-day training regimen, was designed to heighten a trainee’s proficiency in operating the primary weapons systems used in the Tactical Games competitions. It welcomed participants across all skill levels.
Athlete Camp, a 3-day event like TGU, emphasized the holistic development of a tactical athlete. Open to all proficiency levels, attendees were assured of acquiring new skills and refining existing ones. This program was highly recommended for those aiming to ascertain their physical readiness before competing. Lastly, TTG’s Training Day provided training and practice in specific areas an athlete might have needed to drill in before a competition. Training days consisted of a morning brief, a shooting warm-up, three shooting drills, and a mock stage that trainees were free to run multiple times if they wished.
“I wanted to take a moment and thank you for the training this weekend,” reflected Matt O., an attendee of one of TTG’s training programs. “Sadly, I am rarely inspired these days; however, beyond the great perspective and real-world advice on preparing for the games, your example not only inspired me to train better/more effectively, but it was the encouragement that I needed to change the direction of my currently poor personal level of fitness. Your instruction and personal example likely have changed the current arch of my life in a very positive way, and while I am sure you received similar messages from other students, I wanted you to know.”
Athletes who were interested in the games were encouraged to explore The Tactical Games’ training programs, acquaint themselves with the competition rules, and subsequently register on The Tactical Games’ website. The event underscored that all were welcome, with aspiring participants being counseled to train diligently and opt for the appropriate division.
