Ana Turbides, based in New York, recently joined Resilient Film Studios LLC, an independent film production company that is rapidly growing into one of the top names in the business. The Ana Turbides bio states, “Bostonian Born and raised, Ana Turbides currently lives in Buffalo, NY. Her ultimate dream has always been to be in the film industry. She began writing a very descriptive piece in school at the age of 12 that her teacher really enjoyed. She found her writing to be so compelling, that she suggested Ana write a book, and the rest is history! Wanting an even bigger vision to share with the world, she began to adapt her book into a screenplay, and has spent years turning it into an amazing Sci-Fi franchise!”
It adds, “Her love of superheroes as a kid, growing up watching movies like X-Men, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four fed her own imagination, which has now created an ever expanding, fantastic, cinematic universe, in the form of her six superhero siblings, known as THE SUPERIOR SIX! And she’s ready to take the world by storm with it, as she knows audiences and critics alike will not only love the franchise but relate to these heroes in their humanizing aspects.”
She's recently attached an acclaimed director, Colten Dietz, and SAG actors, Kuno Becker, Sardia Robinson, and Greek actor Yorgos Chraniotis. Her script is set to go with a slowly growing crew and she is lining up interviews on several international podcast channels and TV and web radio shows.

One of the films currently in production at RFS is ‘Confessions,’ a thought-provoking film about redemption that features a number of complex themes. The film’s summary reads, “After committing a sin in heaven, an angel (a former Spanish conquistador) is banished, and he must roam the earth until fulfilling his penance, which is to compel sinners to carry out a penance of their own — to right their wrongs and cleanse their souls. The fallen angel has been earthbound for 500 years, attempting to get back to heaven to reunite with his wife. Initially, he contacts sinners by using the one thing they all possess: a phone.”
