Real estate services company Glider Investors is helping investors, property owners, and partners leverage the current landscape of increased rental income and appreciated property value in the United States.
Glider Investors LLC is an active investor, purchaser, operator, manager, and asset manager of multifamily residential communities. The company’s management has enjoyed prior success with communities in 13 Southeastern and Midwestern states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Texas. Today, its primary geographic focus is in five Southeastern states namely Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
According to a Glider spokesperson, “Warm and inviting climates paired with the recent growth of population in cities across our primary geographic focus area make them attractive candidates for future multi-family rental apartment acquisition and construction. With our extensive experience and financial resources, Glider Investors LLC is poised to take maximum advantage of the rise of property values and rental pricing across these states through purchasing, refurbishing, managing, and ultimately selling large multi-family rental apartment complexes.”
Glider Investors’ most valuable asset is the guidance of its founder Bruce LaMotte whose legacy in the industry speaks for itself. LaMotte began his career in 1972 with the predecessor of well-respected Aegon USA, initially concentrating on commercial loan origination for properties nationwide, and eventually assuming responsibility for the firm’s apartment acquisitions. After leaving Aegon in 1980 for then newly founded Amli Realty, LaMotte participated in the company’s first acquisition and development involving 5,000 total acres of land in Chicago and Atlanta.
After executing land deals at Amli, LaMotte quickly moved into apartment acquisitions and development as the firm began developing business parks. Managing both business park infrastructure planning and construction as well as the development of on-site office buildings and warehouses, LaMotte became proficient in all the skills that would serve him well in his next position as a founding partner of Providence Management Company, LLC, in 1985, where he served for 36 years as the firm’s President.
At Providence, LaMotte was personally responsible for the acquisition and subsequent sale of properties representing 20,000 apartment units exceeding $2.4 billion in value. Today, at Glider Investors, LaMotte has a continuing financial interest in properties located in the Southeast United States consisting of 5,500 apartment units exceeding $1.5 billion in value. He also serves on the National Multifamily Housing Council’s Board of Directors.
The company’s current property investments include 2211 Grand Isle, Amberly Place, Arlington Park, Ascent Citrus Park, Ascent Pineville, Boot Ranch, Enclave at Lake Underhill, Enclave on East, Infinity off Baldwin Park, Pine Harbor, Portofino, Seasons at Westchase, Sundance Creek, and Village at Lake Highland. Bruce LaMotte speaks on the company’s values and ambition by saying, “We believe in transparency and fair dealing in everything we do.
