PRZen / ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals (NCBMP) is proud to announce its 40th Annual Conference, a milestone event that will celebrate four decades of diligently advocating for the advancement of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tourism industry. The 40th Annual Conference will take place on December 6-9, 2023, at the Atlanta Marquis Hotel (265 Peachtree Center Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30303).
"We remain steadfast in our dedication to amplifying the voices and contributions of Black professionals in the tourism industry. The 40th Anniversary of our Annual Conference will be a monumental event that will offer ample networking and professional development opportunities, enable participants to build connections as well as allow for collaboration with their professional peers who share a commitment to fostering a productive and engaging culture where Black and Brown people feel a sense of belonging," said NCBMP Executive Director, Jason Dunn
NCBMP's 40th Anniversary celebration promises to be a groundbreaking event that will honor the past, celebrate the present, and triumphantly look forward to the organization's future. The 40
th Annual Conference will convene prominent national and international speakers, leading hospitality executives as well as local and national elected officials that will address current affairs and present professional development workshops for the hospitality and tourism industries, both domestically and around the globe. Such notable speakers and presenters include-
- Clarence Anthony, CEO, National League of Cities
- John Hope Byrant, Founder, Chairman, and CEO, Operation Hope, Inc.
- Dr. George Frazier, Founder & CEO, FraserNet, Inc.
- Aurora James, Author, WILDFLOWER: A Memoir; Founder, Fifteen Percent Pledge; as well as Creative Director and Founder, Brother Vellies
This year's 40th Anniversary of NCBMP will also feature curated performances by the music industry's hottest acts and icons including
R&B hitmaker, Vivan Green, and
Hip-Hop legends, Doug E. Fresh and Chubb Rock.
