U.S. Marine Veteran turned rock singer, songwriter Scott Pryor has been named a 2025 Telly Award winner in the General Music Video – Film/Shorts category for his emotionally charged project, "Breakaway." The Telly Awards, which honor excellence in video and television across all screens, recognized Breakaway for its compelling storytelling and production quality.

Breakaway is about overcoming addiction. What's unique about this song is the addiction is tempting the person and in the lyrics we see the fight between the person tempted and the addiction. Ultimately, the person fights and wins. It's for inspiration for the addiction recovery community.
