Celebrating Champions Who Dare to Dream and Achieve the Impossible

Sep. 9, 2024 / PRZen / ATLANTA -- The 9th Annual LEDI International Life Changers Awards and Fundraising Gala hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist and emcee Sharon Reed, will take place on October 26, 2024, at the Westin Atlanta Hotel Airport.

Themed "Dare to Dream and Achieve the Impossible," this premier awards and fundraising gala will honor these extraordinary leaders who are making a profound impact on their communities and beyond:
  • Rennie Curran – Former NFL player and UGA Bulldog, CEO of The Game Changers Foundation, dedicated to empowering students, current and former athletes, and business professionals through mentorship and personal development.
  • Robert Dunn – Senior Regional Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Atlanta, whose leadership has transformed youth programs and services across the region.
  • Sue Ann Hong-Whitaker – Executive Director of The Center for Asian Pacific American Women, recognized for her work in developing and empowering Asian Pacific American women into effective leaders.
  • Korto Momolu – Renowned fashion designer and activist, Project Runway Season 5 alum, known for using her platform to advocate for women's rights and cultural expression.
  • Comer Yates – Executive Director of the Atlanta Speech School, a leader in advancing literacy and communication skills to create equal opportunities for all children.
This year's Honorary Event Chair, Thomas W. Dortch, III, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming celebration, "I am honored to be a part of this extraordinary evening and invite everyone to join us to celebrate these incredible honorees."
