Since 1996, The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books has gathered writers, poets, artists, filmmakers, musicians, and emerging storytellers. The festival attracts approximately 155,000 people each year and is the largest event of its kind in the United States. The conference will be held on the USC University Park Campus in Los Angeles, near the California Science Center, the Natural History Museum, and the California African American Museum.
Founded in 1970, the EFA is a national nonprofit professional organization with approximately 3,000 members, including writers, editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, translators and others who work in publishing, communications and related fields.
The EFA has garnered praise from publishing pros like Jane Friedman and Louise Harnby and is frequently listed as a valuable resource for authors on sites including Poets & Writers, BookBub, Flatpage, Medium, The Write Life, Publishers Weekly, Poynter, and the Chicago Manual of Style blog.
