PRZen / CENTENNIAL, Colo. -- Centennial Flyers, Colorado's leading flight club based at Centennial Airport (KAPA), is proud to announce the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) to become the
launch customer in Colorado for the
all-electric B23 Energic aircraft, developed by H55 and BRM Aero.
This milestone positions Centennial Flyers at the forefront of sustainable aviation, supporting the broader effort to accelerate electric aircraft adoption at one of the nation's busiest general aviation airports. The B23 Energic is a state-of-the-art, battery-electric two-seat aircraft optimized for flight training and local operations. With zero emissions and reduced noise, the B23 Energic represents a dramatic step forward in green aviation.
"Signing this LOI underscores our commitment to innovation and environmental leadership in general aviation," said Scott Smith, President of Centennial Flyers. "We're excited to work alongside H55, BRM Aero, and our partners at Centennial Airport to bring electric flight to the forefront in Colorado."
Centennial Flyers currently operates a diverse fleet of over 30 aircraft and serves more than 1,000 members. The addition of the B23 Energic will complement its training programs and showcase the practical benefits of electric propulsion, including lower operating costs, quieter flight profiles, and a cleaner carbon footprint.
This announcement coincides with a broader push by Centennial Airport and local stakeholders to attract investment in sustainable aviation infrastructure and public-private partnerships to support fleet electrification.
