PRZen / MOUNT DORA, Fla. -- The 27th annual Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts kicks off in the streets of downtown Mount Dora on Saturday morning March 16th at 9am.
Join Visit Mount Dora™ as the downtown Mount Dora, FL streets come alive with 250 exhibitors set up to show off and sell their hand-crafted artwork.
Event coordinator Janet Gamache says, "The Mount Dora Spring Show has evolved so much over the years. It went from an old antique show back in the 90's to what has become a fun, eclectic festival that supports artists and hand crafters from all over the state."
Another popular feature of the show is the Beer Garden in Sunset Park. "Guests can purchase adult beverages at the kiosks or at local restaurants where they will be given approved cups and walk around the event freely. We want folks to come out, relax, enjoy the festival, and linger," says Gamache. There will be festival food vendors available on site but the downtown shops and restaurants will also be open for business.
The Mount Dora Spring Festival of Arts and Crafts is a family friendly two-day, open-air event. Mount Dora Center for the Arts will host a free craft zone for kids to try their hand at crafting their own projects in Sunset Park.
The event is pet friendly but owners are encouraged to leave their pets at home for the comfort of your animal and other event guests. A free parking shuttle will be available at 900 Lincoln Ave, Mount Dora.
Bring the family, wear comfortable shoes, and get ready to shop 'til you drop! The show runs Sat March 16 and Sun March 17 from 9am-5pm
