Pousye’s entrepreneurial journey is one that stands out among the rest. It all began with a simple notebook, as he was inspired by the vibrant Haitian marketplace, and his sketches and designs poured out onto the pages. This love for art eventually evolved into his business, "The Haitian Hustler", which was designed to help Haitian Immigrants understand the online business so they can improve their life and create a lasting impact in Haiti.
His passion for art began at an early age, and he knew that he was destined for greater things. At 19 years old, he moved to the United States and learned English while taking commercial art classes at a technical college. After working as a graphic designer for several companies, he decided to start his own creative agency, Pousye Plus, to help entrepreneurs and business owners with branding and marketing.
One of Pousye's most rewarding moments came when he was offered a teaching position at the same technical college where he had once taken the commercial art program. He has now been teaching there for over seven years and has helped many students become graphic designers and entrepreneurs. He even hired some of his students to work at his agency, serving the technical colleges with their branding and marketing. In 2018, he was awarded Teacher of the Year for the School.
According to Pousye, "The Haitian Hustler" is not just a brand or a lifestyle, but a movement that embodies the resilience and determination needed to survive everyday struggles. Through The Haitian Hustler Academy, he helps Haitian immigrants understand the online business world. His products, which include apparel for men and women, showcase the rich culture and dialect of Haiti along with his exceptional graphic design skills.
