MAKE Launches Next-Generation Self-Custodial Wallet for Casper Blockchain
Casper's new defacto ecosystem wallet offers users and developers a secure, self-custodial, and user-friendly experience, featuring one-and-done logins for seamless app interaction on the Casper blockchain.
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / April 11, 2023 / MAKE, a dynamic, service-oriented consultancy firm, with the support of the Casper Association and Casper Labs, today announces the launch of its new self-custodial wallet, Casper Wallet, the digital asset wallet for the Casper blockchain.
Casper Wallet is accessible as a browser extension, making it easy for users to access their assets from anywhere. The browser extension works seamlessly with all major desktop browsers, including Chrome, Brave, Firefox, and Safari. A mobile version of Casper Wallet is in development and is expected to launch later in 2023.
Casper Wallet provides users full control over their assets, with private keys stored locally on their device, eliminating any risks associated with custodial solutions. Casper Wallet implements industry standards such as Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallets and extended keys (BIP-32) and Mnemonic Phrases (BIP-39), in such a way that users' assets are not only more secure, but interoperability is available with other wallets, including hardware wallets such as Ledger devices.
The Casper Wallet is the third application in the CSPR Product Suite to launch on the Casper Network, following CSPR.live, the go-to block explorer for Casper, and CSPR.studio, the popular app that makes it a breeze for anyone to mint NFTs, send them to friends, or list them on marketplaces.
Later this quarter, the CSPR.market NFT marketplace will launch, tightly integrated with other apps across the Casper Blockchain and with unique and exclusive content from top creators and projects.
Additionally, the imminent launch of CSPR.click will allow users to easily interact with and sign on to apps across the blockchain, no matter which supported wallet they use, while enabling developers to support all wallets through a single integration. CSPR.click will be supported by other CSPR Product Suite apps at launch, as well as third-party applications and games.
Finally, the forthcoming CSPR.name domain service, recently admitted to the Web3 Domain Alliance on behalf of the Casper Network, will be fully supported by the CSPR Product Suite apps when it launches later in 2023.
