PRESS RELEASE
Published April 1, 2023

INNOVATE(R) Nashville showcases the innovators, innovations, thought leaders, companies, products, and services within Nashville's innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Global Village Publishing has released this 252-page premium coffee-table book focusing on Nashville with augmented reality videos, an online platform, and a global network with a common goal of ensuring the best innovations and innovation enablers connect and succeed.

"INNOVATE(R) Nashville is a celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit and innovation energy from the Nashville region," says Brian Moyer, former CEO of the Greater Nashville Technology Council and Project Champion of INNOVATE(R) Nashville. "It's all about connecting the innovators and innovation enablers whose paths might not cross otherwise and building a global innovation network. Our hope with INNOVATE(R) Nashville is that the stories highlighted in these pages will resonate with business leaders and decision-makers across the city, and even across the globe, who seek to effect positive change in their cities and businesses."

The publication opens with a showcase from the Nashville Chamber of Commerce on why Nashville is a great place for innovators. It offers insights into business, culture, communities, infrastructure, history, and how the city is taking on Silicon Valley to position itself as an up-and-coming Smart City.

Innovators and innovation enablers share the stories of their organizations within the book's industry-specific chapters. A few organizations spotlighted include The Wond'ry, Belmont University, Go West Creative, HCA Healthcare, VendEngine, EvidenceCare, Nashville Entrepreneur Center, Intera Works, Vanderbilt University, and a host of change-makers in technology innovation, blockchain and web3, education, fintech, healthcare, and more.

Amongst the many high-profile thought leaders and innovators featured in the publication are Dr. Greg Jones (President, Belmont University), David Fischette (CEO & Chief Creative, Go West Creative), Dr. Natalie M. Curcio (Curcio Dermatology), Kevin Jones (CEO, Celero), Rod McDaniel (CEO, S3 Recycling), and Yesi Sevilla (Director, Strategic Engagement & Ecosystem Development, The Wondry).

The publication closes with The Best of Nashville, a chapter showcasing 44 of Nashville's most loved local businesses, all nominated by the book's contributors.

"I'm extremely proud to present INNOVATE Nashville," says Gill Wagner, Publishing Partner for Global Village Publishing. "In all the INNOVATE(R) conversations I've had with this nation's business leaders, I've never encountered a generosity of spirit as strong as the one that blankets the Nashville innovation scene."

As the latest in the INNOVATE(R) series, INNOVATE(R) Nashville is also part of Global Village Publishing's growing number of titles. "We publish INNOVATE(R) Nashville for the open-minded folk who want to know more about the exciting changes that have recently transpired in the Nashville ecosystem and who play or want to play an active role in its growth and development.," shares Sven Boermeester, Global Village's founder and CEO.
