Las Vegas, Nevada, United States - 02-10-2023 (PR Distribution™) -

Newly formed 501c3 aims to serve the greater Las Vegas community and beyond.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada (February 10th, 2023)— Give Happy Foundation, a unique foundation dedicated to supporting the Las Vegas community, is proud to announce its official launch as a nonprofit organization. The foundation, born out of a corporate, 20-year community giveback initiative, will raise funds, form volunteer groups, and raise awareness for other nonprofits and programs that serve the Las Vegas community.

The mission of the Give Happy Foundation (GHF) is to facilitate and amplify responsible giving opportunities for individuals and organizations to positively impact creative expression, the environment, and the Las Vegas community. With roots in the trade show and live marketing events industry, the foundation provides a formal avenue for other trade show and event companies, businesses in the private sector, and individuals to donate to a variety of programs.

Through its three pillars of giving, which are creative innovation, environmental restoration, and the Las Vegas community, the GHF strives to not only create an impact for the local Las Vegas community but also nationally and globally.

The GHF was born from the positive work of the Give Happy Committee, which was the giveback and outreach program of Steelhead Productions for nearly 20 years. The founders and board members of the GHF were the leaders of the corporate committee, which enabled a smooth leadership transition into the newly incorporated foundation. The board members are Lance Randall, Chair of the Board; Andrew Childers, Vice Chair of the Board; Elizabeth Martinez, Secretary; and Justin Schultz, Treasurer.

Rhiannon Andersen, President and CEO of the Give Happy Foundation, expresses how the formation of the foundation was a natural next step in the evolution of the Give Happy Committee: “Steelhead, over the years, has been consistently dedicated to giving back through the Give Happy Committee. We’ve rallied our trade show network to donate and since 2020 alone our community outreach is at 32 organizations served, 11,351 items donated, 336 hours of volunteer work, and over $13,000 of fundraising. The work of our committee proved that we are capable of being good stewards of our resources. It felt only natural to formalize the foundation into a 501c3, which allows us to amplify this meaningful and important work. I’m beyond proud of the Steelheaders and the trade show community at large who made this foundation a reality.”
