With an extraordinary career spanning across different landscapes, Andrew Spreckley has carved a remarkable path from the bustling streets of Melbourne to the unforgiving war zones of Afghanistan. He is a multi talented individual who has not only excelled in many different professions but also made a lasting impression in each of them.
From his admirable work in law enforcement and ambulance service to his pioneering position as the founder of the cutting-edge company, Multiradio, Andrew’s trajectory demonstrates a unique blend of tenacity, adaptability, and unshakable dedication to compliance and safety.
Andrew’s journey commenced in December 2000, when he joined Victoria Police. He bravely confronted policing issues as a police officer, carrying out routine and unique tasks as well as quickly responding to criminal activity and traffic accidents. He gained the admiration of his colleagues and the communities he worked in because of his commitment and aptitude at handling difficult people and circumstances.
Andrew Spreckley entered a new, essential field in 2005 when he joined the Department of Health and Human Services, Victoria, as an Advanced Child Protection Practitioner. He diligently investigated allegations of child abuse while serving in this capacity, expertly handled high-risk clients, and actively participated in care team meetings. His dedication included participating actively in recruitment panels for child protection and youth justice as well as supervising cases that were given to him by the government.
Andrew Spreckley eventually accepted a position as an ambulance driver with Anodyne Services Australia in Afghanistan from September 2010 to April 2011, showcasing his adaptability. He was the first medical responder to the entire facility while serving in the war-torn nation, giving vital assistance to 40,000 soldiers and contractors. He maintained a daily audit of medical supplies and equipment while working in remote and difficult conditions at Kandahar Airfield, adhering to a strict 24-hour rotating roster, and making sure that he was immediately called back to duty during base attacks.
Andrew founded Multiradio as a business to show his dedication to safety and compliance after his experience in a combat zone. He sourced PTToC (Push-to-Talk over Cellular) devices as the company’s founder, making sure they met the strictest safety requirements in Australia and New Zealand. But he continued to make contributions to safety after that. In order to share his knowledge and experience with aspiring professionals, Andrew also worked as a Trainer and Assessor for Certificate IV OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) and Training and Assessing. His knowledge of Advanced First Aid strengthened his capacity to mentor students and assist them in achieving their objectives.
In addition to his duties as a trainer and assessor, Andrew was essential in making sure Multiradio complied with all ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority) compliance standards. In order to make sure that deserving people received the respect they merited for their prior experiences and skills, he also took on the job of evaluating respect of Prior Learning (RPL) portfolios and validating claims.
The success of Andrew’s tale demonstrates the value of adaptability and steadfast dedication. Many have been inspired by his journey from the streets to battle zones to entrepreneurship, and his contributions to public safety and compliance have had long-lasting effects.
