In Baku, the SABAH.hub organized Baku ID event kicked off today, set to last for 2 days. The event’s opening day featured a panel discussion titled “Driving innovation and transitioning to a knowledge-based economy,” where Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR, delivered remarks. Najaf highlighted the significance of technology, the role of human resources, and carbon emissions. He stated, “The company has set ambitious goals – achieving zero carbon gas emissions by 2050 and minimizing methane emissions by 2035. Achieving these ambitious plans is impossible without the application of new technologies and innovations that can be provided by startups and researchers.”
