VCLF Announces "Rising from the Ashes" Home Tour Fundraiser

Ventura, CA - The Ventura County Library Foundation (VCLF) proudly presents the "Rising from the Ashes" Home Tour, a unique and inspiring fundraising event scheduled on April 20, 2024, from 12 pm to 4 pm. With "Visions to See and Stories to Tell", this special event offers an exclusive opportunity to tour select stunning homes in Ventura County that have been rebuilt following the devastating Thomas Fire.

In a display of resilience and community spirit, selected residents whose homes were affected by the fire are opening their doors to the community. This limited tour will showcase the beauty of these rebuilt homes and share the personal stories of recovery and resilience of those who have risen from the ashes of adversity.

The "Rising from the Ashes" Home Tour marks its third annual event, celebrating the strength and solidarity of the Ventura County community. Attendees can look forward to exploring homes featuring a variety of architectural styles, including Craftsman, Contemporary Ranch, Modern, Mid Century, Southwest, Spanish, Spanish Mission, Mediterranean, French Country, and Spanish Moorish designs.

All proceeds from the home tour will directly support the Ventura County Library Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing Ventura County Library Services. The funds raised will contribute to a vast array of programs at Ventura County libraries, encompassing literacy, the arts, technology, and cultural lessons designed to engage and inspire library members of all ages throughout the county.

Last year's event sold out two weeks prior, so the public is encouraged to secure their tickets early. Tickets are priced at $50 and will be available for purchase starting March 1, 2024, on the Ventura County Library Foundation's website at www.vclibraryfoundation.org.
