Following the announcement, employers can take advantage of the consultancy's updated fast application service to claim their maximum allowable rebate for 2021, with a time commitment of 15 minutes or less.

The ERTC program was originally launched in 2020 to help business owners keep staff on the payroll throughout the pandemic. While the deadline has now passed for rebates on wages paid in 2020, employers can still claim up to $21,000 per employee in refunds for wages paid in 2021, with no upper limit on funding.

LP Consulting encourages all employers who had staff on the payroll during the pandemic to complete their no-cost, no-obligation assessment, which can determine if they qualify, and how much they may be able to claim. Eligible employers can then choose to claim their rebates on their own or to request help with a fast application from an LP Consulting specialist.

The deadline for claims for wages paid in 2021 is April 2025, but LP Consulting advises employers to act quickly, as new laws are being considered that could shorten the timeline for applications. While the exact processing time to receive refunds may vary, LP Consulting helps business owners to claim the maximum allowable rebate, while requiring only 15 minutes of their time to complete the application process.

All employers are encouraged to take the eligibility assessment, even if they were previously disqualified, or have already received loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). While employers were originally only permitted to receive funds from one or the other pandemic relief program, that requirement has since been removed, allowing business owners to benefit from both programs.

While individual rebates will vary based on wages, hours, and other factors, LP Consulting has helped some business owners to claim up to $1,120,000 in rebates. Unlike other pandemic relief programs, these rebates are not loans or deferrals, never require repayment, and have no restrictions on how they can be spent.
