Recent statistics from the University of Minnesota show that there are around 7.5 million people in the United States with an intellectual or developmental disability, and many of these individuals require some form of long-term support or service. With a recognition of how important it is to maintain quality of life and build a greater level of self-direction for those with special needs, the home care solutions from Community Health and Education Services, led by Dr. Leslie Phillips and Lisa Noel, MSN, RN, focus on collaboration and creativity.
