LI-Kick Launches "New in Town" Initiative For Individuals New to Long Island

Published March 13, 2024

This spring, LI-Kick is offering a unique opportunity for newcomers to immerse themselves in the vibrant social scene of Long Island by participating in its diverse range of social sports leagues, free of charge.

The "New in Town" initiative is designed for individuals who have recently relocated to Long Island, returned home from college, new singles, or those simply seeking to expand their social circles and take up new hobbies. Recognizing the challenges of integrating into a new community, LI-Kick's program aims to be a bridge for people looking to make new connections and friends in a fun and engaging environment.

Sal Farruggia, the owner of LI-Kick, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Every night, hundreds of people join LI-Kick to play, laugh, and connect. Leagues can be the catalyst people are looking for to develop long lasting friendships and relationships"

LI-Kick's social sports leagues are not just about competition; they are about community building, fun, and making lifelong connections. From soccer to bowling, kickball, and more, the leagues cater to a wide range of interests and skill levels, ensuring that everyone can find a place to fit in. Additionally, the leagues offer a chance for true community connection and exploring and creating new friendships.

This spring, five "New in Town" players will be selected to join the LI-Kick leagues for free. This initiative is an open invitation to anyone new to the area, whether recently relocating for work, returning home after college, or are simply looking to revitalize their social life. This program offers a unique way to create new friendships while also having a great time.

Don't miss this opportunity to become an integral part of Long Island's thriving social sports community. For further information and to complete an application, please refer to the LI-Kick website at
