The new release highlights the menu created for Jossy and Jovana's wedding party - ranging from jollof rice to fried yam and sauce - which was described as a 'culinary symphony' by guests, and how Ellesu served 100 people over four hours.

The catering team included three members of Ellesu staff, and they prepared food that had largely been sourced from a local African food store and meat market. Much of the food was new to the guests, who were experiencing authentic African cuisine for the first time.
The groom said: "The wedding guests were amazed at the meals and the platter. Ellesu catered our wedding with authentic Nigerian dishes that were a hit with everyone. The jollof rice and African salad were favourites, showcasing Ellesu's culinary expertise, and their attention to detail from presentation to accommodating dietary needs, was impeccable."
The case study describes how Ellesu worked with an engineer to customize a revolving display platform with lights for the puff-puff presentation. Their collaboration with a content creator ensured that the party's special moments were captured and shared.
The wedding menu featured an array of West African delicacies, including meat pie, spring rolls, puff puff, plantain dog, and MoinMoin, all prepared with a commitment to providing authentic and vibrant flavours.
Ellesu offers a wide range of services, including event catering, private parties, international catering, and online food deliveries. They have also expanded into online learning, offering classes that teach the art of making smoky jollof rice and Ofe Akwu - two of their most popular dishes.
The case study's release showcases the dedication and innovation of Ellesu's founder, Olive, who is from Anambra State, Nigeria. Her passion for food dates back to her formative years, when she attempted to impress her late grandmother by cooking for the household.
"This catering opportunity stemmed from a recommendation by a satisfied client who had previously enjoyed Ellesu's Abacha," a spokesperson for the restaurant explains. "The groom, a friend of the client, emphasised the desire to showcase the diversity of Nigerian food."
