Indianapolis, IN (02-07-2024) - The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis, Inc., a leading catalyst and private foundation dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Indiana's most vulnerable populations, announces the appointment of three esteemed new members to its Board of Directors. Effective January 1, 2024, Joyce Hertko, Ninya Bostic, and Robert Schmid have joined the board, each bringing unique expertise and a shared passion for health equity and community service.
Joyce Hertko comes to the board with a rich background in public health administration, having served in various capacities where she focused on bridging gaps in healthcare access and quality for underrepresented populations. Her expertise in strategic planning and policy development will be instrumental in guiding the Foundation's initiatives towards sustainable health solutions for those in need.
Ninya Bostic, with a career rooted in community activism and social work, has been at the forefront of efforts to address social determinants of health and advocate for the rights and well-being of marginalized communities. Her experience working directly with vulnerable populations provides her with invaluable insights that will enhance the Foundation's responsiveness and effectiveness in meeting community needs.
Robert Schmid brings to the board a wealth of experience in the business sector, particularly in leveraging technology to support health and human services. His innovative approach to problem-solving and his commitment to corporate social responsibility will help the Foundation explore new avenues for partnership and impact in the health sector.
