Nominations Open for the 2023 Women in Photonics Excellence Award

Eligible candidates will be accepted until May 31, 2023.

PISCATAWAY, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / May 22, 2023 / The inaugural IEEE Photonics Society Women in Photonics Excellence Award was established to recognize an exceptional technical, educational, or societal contribution made by a woman which has had a significant impact to the photonics community-at-large. Supporting information and endorsements are required to demonstrate achievements and technological advancements. Alas, self-nominations are not permitted. Recipients may be proposed by their colleagues, peers in the field, IEEE volunteers who recognize their unique contributions, industry leaders, and/or by engineering professors from across the globe.

An individual recipient will receive a certificate, a cash honorarium, and complimentary registration to the IEEE Photonics Conference where the award will be presented.
