The Virtual Island Paradise will elect the first mayor with the first property auction as almost 200.000 entries recorded in airdrop.
Metaverser, the first NFT-based open-world multiplayer Metaverse is going to auction it’s first property to elect a mayor in the island of Hombaba. The island has 3331 plots with 71 pre-built houses. Players will be able to use a home builder that enables the creation of complex virtual real estate. The company aims to create the genre of digital architects and interior designers by delivering the tools needed to build virtual real estate. From offices to homes, there are no limits.
In the initial phase, only land and homeowners of Hombaba Island, the first island on Metaverser, will be able to play Metaverser.
What is Metaverser?
The Metaverse has play-to-earn missions and challenges, but also allows players to mine MTVT, using an innovative smart-contract leveraging in-game miner powered by virtual electricity that needs to be purchased in-game. This electricity can be carbon neutral or damaging to the environment. If the latter is used, users will need to pay CO2 tax which will be distributed amongst all players.
Shayan Salehi, the COO and co-founder of TerraMetas Studios, the company behind Metaverser says: “We are firm believers in climate change and we want our players to have awareness of this issue. By creating a universal basic income for Island inhabitants based on the collected CO2 tax, we want to emphasise the need for green mining and the energy transition in the real world. End of the day we only have one world until we colonise Mars. The Metaverse should create a role model for a better world for everyone, while not limiting the fun element of open world games.”
The miner is placed in a home or in the green data centre on every island that houses 300 free miner slots.
The first open-world NFT based Metaverse where you can play with an avatar created from a picture of your own face, detecting 468 biometric spots (468 Face Landmarks).
Formula 1 races, events, missions and many more innovative features make Metaverser an interesting project to follow. The game is currently in Beta testing with a limited number of users and will be released to land owners in February of 2022.
Metaverser is built on Unity 3D and will be available on web using WebGL, Windows, Mac and soon on Mobile and the Oculus (Meta) VR platform.
The Mayor and the Initial Land Sale
Hombaba Island is looking for the first mayor. This privilege comes with advantages that are temporary and others that remain indefinitely.
Hombaba has different Neighborhoods such as a city, a hilly mountain area and a desert, a natural park with AI driven animals, and the Nakomoto International Airport.
The highest bid on the first land auction of Hombaba Island will be the Mayor of Hombaba for 12 months.
