Manan Verma is a 24-year old Software Engineer based out of Panchkula, Haryana. He presently works with the Urban Company as a Software Engineer and has completed his education from reputed Indian and foreign institutions. He has previously worked with MakeMyTrip, upGrad, and Zycus building and leading projects in the DevOps/SRE domain. Apart from work, he is a great mentor, an avid public speaker, and believes in the simplicity of things.
Manan has always been quite a research focused individual. He has dedicated his initial years of life to gain knowledge and experience from the best educational institutions across the globe. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Chitkara University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. He has also completed his Masters in Science in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
Manan is a capable and strong individual with some exceptionally great mentoring and people skills. He has mentored more than 100+ students as well as early professionals over the years. And that too, in one-to-one sessions. He continues to mentor individuals to help them find the right direction in life. He dedicates major part of his weekends in mentoring sessions, which include 15-minutes crisp-question sessions, 30-minutes follow-up or mock interview sessions or a 3-4 hours long tech deep-dive session.
Manan highly supports the concept of fulfilment in work, after interacting with thousands of engineers, working at four organisations and studied at three different universities, He says “An individual should not only work to repair their current skills or prepare for their new job, project or promotion, but to have a fulfilling experience and get to see your work creating high impact”
Manan strongly believes in a very simple logic in life and leaves no chance of speaking it out in the open. He strongly promotes this logic to help the younger aspirants to build a strong career base, and succeed in life.
