LutiBand Partners with RapidSOS to Share Critical Health Information to 911

Clearwater, FL – July 8, 2021 – LutiBand, the next innovative product from the LutiKey family, today announced a partnership with RapidSOS to provide life-saving LutiBand Smartwatch user health information to 911 personnel in an emergency through the RapidSOS Platform. Built in partnership with public safety, RapidSOS’s emergency response data platform securely links life-saving data from over 350M connected devices directly to over 4,800 Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs) nationwide.

● LutiBand announces a partnership with RapidSOS and is now recognized as RapidSOS Ready
● Through this partnership, LutiBand sends life-saving emergency data directly to 911 through the RapidSOS Platform in an emergency

With this partnership, LutiBand users can send rich incident location and additional information to ECCs across the country in the case of an emergency. This information may include emergency intelligence data such as the user’s medical history, medications, allergies, emergency contact, doctor information, and dynamic vital signs (i.e. heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, and body temperature). This data provides first responders with the critical information they need to empower a faster and more effective emergency response.
The LutiBand Smartwatch is a simple-to-use wearable device that is designed to better protect our elderly, children, travelers, active individuals, workers on high-risk job sites, individuals with pre-existing medical conditions, and individuals who want an added layer of security. LutiBand users can also enable historic tracking on their smartwatch to track all the destinations the users visited for the past 30 days, as well as geofencing which can alert emergency contacts when the user passes a security perimeter. These features can be crucial for keeping track of a child or an individual with dementia.
“The goal of LutiBand is to help protect people regardless of their health and age,” said Gustavo Rubacha, CEO of LutiBand. “Having a partner like RapidSOS is a game-changer for our product. Being able to connect our life-saving data to over 4,800 ECCs across the country will allow us to better protect Lutiband users and potentially save someone’s life.”

According to Eugene Hsu, MD, Head of Healthcare at RapidSOS, “We’re united in our commitment to empower safer, stronger communities with intelligent, data-driven emergency response worldwide. With LutiBand joining our RapidSOS Ready Emergency Community, we’re providing their users with an added layer of safety and security and we’re supporting our heroic first responders in saving lives annually.”
With the launch of this solution in Fall 2021, LutiBand technology will be recognized as RapidSOS Ready. The LutiBand Smartwatch is also available for preorder today. To learn more, visit:
