The 8th Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools 2021 is an international dance competition hosted by Beijing Dance Academy.
The Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools aims to promote the exchange and development of ballet art education and talent training around the world. Since 2006, the competition has been held every two years. Up to now, more than 800 ballet students and young dancers from more than 70 universities and performance troupes in more than 50 countries and regions have participated in the competition.
The 8th Beijing International Ballet Invitational for Dance Schools 2021 was launched in May and its registration ended on October 31st. There were 147 contestants from home and abroad, including 22 countries including China, the United States, Britain, Hungary, Ukraine, Brazil, Russia, Kazakhstan, Australia and South Korea. Among them, there were 79 Chinese dancers and 68 foreign dancers, who were divided into three groups according to their age. After the primary review, 71 contestants from 14 countries entered the finals.
The final of the invitational competition will be held from 19:00 to 21:00, December 3rd (Friday) to 5th (Sunday), 2021 via global live streaming.
