Lexington Tree Experts Hires A New Specialized Crane Operator to Improve Safety During Emergency Tree Removals

Lexington, Kentucky – A company that has built its name in Lexington and the surrounding neighborhoods by leveraging safety, Lexington Tree Experts has decided to take its safety when handling emergency tree removal procedures to the next level. The company earlier today announced that it hired a new member who would help the team with operating the crane during emergency tree removal procedures.

“Emergency tree removal procedures have to be handled extra carefully to reduce the risk of property damage,” said the Lexington Tree Experts CEO. “The crane is one of the most vital tools when it comes to ensuring the emergency tree removal procedure is safe to the neighboring utilities. However, the crane will only offer maximum benefits if there is someone with enough experience operating it.”

The CEO noted that his company had been hiring crane operators on a job-to-job basis—that is, the company only hired someone to operate the crane whenever there was a job that needed the crane. However, the CEO noted that his company could not always find someone experienced when his team had unexpected job requests.

“It is not uncommon for emergency tree removal procedure requests to come through in the middle of the night,” said the CEO. “Just imagine when a homeowner calls the office at 1 am looking for help with a tree that is leaning dangerously over powerlines. Such a homeowner has no patience as the tree is about to cause damage—this means that by working to find a crane operator, the company will be delaying the emergency tree removal procedure and giving the tree more opportunity to land on the powerlines and cause damage.”

The CEO noted that in addition to delaying emergency tree removal procedures, hiring a crane operator on a job-to-job basis was often forcing the company to raise the cost of emergency tree removal procedures.

“Just imagine a case where the company has to get a crane operator in the next hour,” said the CEO when explaining how hiring the crane operators for one-time jobs caused a spike in emergency tree removal costs. “The crane operator already knows that you need him. This means that he will charge you a very high price for his services. For the company to maintain profitability, this crane operator cost has to be added to the emergency tree removal cost—this has always resulted in higher tree removal costs.”

The CEO noted that he had to test more than 10 crane operators before deciding to hire the one currently working with the company. His goal was to ensure that the crane operator could deliver on what the company promised in terms of safety.

“The current crane operator has been working in the tree service industry for more than 15 years,” said the CEO. “He has been handling cranes for more than 7 years. His combined experience in tree maintenance and crane operations are the two distinct features that make him a special asset for the company.”

The CEO noted that the company had already tested the crane operator during a normal tree removal procedure. He noted that the crane operator delivered beyond the company’s expectations.

“The company is happy to announce that homeowners now can expect more affordable emergency tree removal costs and faster responses to their requests,” said the CEO. “This will be made possible by the new crane operator and the company’s team of experts.”
