LOS ANGELES, CA, October 20, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency is running a program to foster metaverse companies with global competitiveness through support tailored to companies in the fields of metaverse and XR content.
The National IT Industry Promotion Agency prepared a promotional booth for ‘AWE EU 2022’, which will be held in Feira Internacional de Lisboa Convention Center in Lisbon, Portugal between the upcoming October 20th (Thurs) and the 21st (Fri), and will raise the status of the K-Metaverse brand and promising Korean companies. The AWE EU 2022 event will actively support the strengthening of the network of global companies and buyers and help innovative Korean metaverse companies expand overseas through various official programs like K-Metaverse Pitch Stage conference. A total of 15 Korean companies will be attending, and 10 of these will be leading companies.
First, the AWE EU conference will open on October 20th (Thurs) in Lisbon at the Feira Internacional de Lisboa AUDITORIUM 2, 3 and will have a main topic presentation and a Q&A session.
At the conference, 3i (presenter CEO Ken Kim) will emphasize the usefulness of production based on Pivo products that veers away from existing DSLR-based content creation. In addition, NP (presenter Yeon-jung Choo CEO) will follow up with a presentation on the today and tomorrow of Korea’s metaverse ecosystem.
Finally, the conference with the theme of ‘XR Impact’ will have Woo-seok Jang, the CEO of Team of Warkers as the MC and Woongjin THINKBIG (deputy general manager Ju-rang Kim), P&C Solution (department head Eun-jung Lee), and Marvrus (CSO Yong-min Cho) will present on the future of the metaverse proposed by Korean metaverse companies.
The Pitch Stage which will take place in Feira Internacional de Lisboa SALA 1 in Lisbon on the 21st (Fri) will have 10 leading Korean companies in attendance.
The Pitch Stage will be MCed by Andrey Lunev, a Swiss venture partner, and companies like 3i, NP, P&C Solution, MetaVu (formerly Extriple), Neogames, Brandi, Ejune System, HAEGIN, Marvrus, and Woongjin THINKBIG will be attending for IR pitching to global VC.
Seen as the biggest expo in the categories of AR, VR, and metaverse, AWE (Augmented World Expo) EU is held every year in Europe. 5,000 related companies and around 60,000 experts gathered since 2010 and is promoting the business growth of the metaverse industry.
