Introducing Aquaponics, the revolutionary system of growing plants and a garden organically

Wikipedia defines Aquaponics as a food production system that couples aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as fish, crayfish, snails, or prawns in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) whereby the nutrient-rich aquaculture water is fed to hydroponic grown plant, involving nitrifying bacteria for converting ammonia into nitrates.

The aquaponics market is expected to grow by USD 360.08 million during 2021-2025, according to Technavio. It’s an innovative and revolutionary breakthrough, organic gardening secret that triples the growth of plants 100% to 50% faster, with the capacity to grow TEN times the plants in the same amount of space. It’s a system that is set up like clockwork, feeding rich natural nutrients to the plants 24/7, all year round.

Aquaponics has been a mainstay for a certain family in Hawaii who have discovered and implemented this technique. According to John Fay, creator of Aquaponics 4 You™ “On a recent visit to Hawaii, I discovered one family already applying this method, and it has transformed their gardening and their lives. Using this method they grow over 4,000 pounds of organic vegetables per month… with only about 3,000 square feet of space. That’s is just about the size of a well-sized yard! They are producing so much food, they can feed their family with the food they grow AND recently got USDA Organic Certification and have started to sell their produce to local markets.”

The benefits of this incredible system of farming can be summarized into the following:

  • There’s no more weeding.
  • 70% less Energy than conventional gardening!
  • It grows most plants twice as fast.
  • No more soil pests.
  • The need for pesticides is eliminated.
  • No more fertilizing or soil cultivation.

Simplified for the layman, Aquaponics utilizes the principle of balance in nature. Much the same way humans have a symbiotic relationship with plants during respiration, that’s how plants interact with fishes reared in aquaculture. The fishes produce Ammonia, Algae, Minerals, and all kinds of other by-products that need to be constantly filtered, which conveniently happens to be what plants feed on.

“It’s a win/win/win situation for everyone: firstly, the plants get rich alive nutrients around the clock.  Secondly, the fish are happy as their water is filtered by nature every day. Thirdly, the farmer gets healthier plants (a lot more of them), and A LOT of benefits”. This way, your plants exist in a natural balanced relationship with the algae/fish, which makes them grow faster and healthier”, explained John Fay.

John Fey is teaching interested participants how to build a small aquaponics system. It’s a comprehensive and holistic approach to aquaponics, replete with step-by-step guides, diagrams, explanations, and instructions. Additionally, participants also get incredible bonuses (Total Value of $300!) of other invaluable health and farming publications by John Fey.
