Home Care Market Leader Zemplee Bolsters Its Board of Directors

Santa Clara, CA – January 14, 2022 – Zemplee, a technology platform that utilizes attentive AI and passive sensors to help the elderly age in place gracefully, announced today that Drs. Joshua Smith and Dan Edelman have joined the company’s Board of Directors as Advisory Board Members to help guide the company through its hyper-growth phase. Together they bring decades of experience in public health and healthcare and are leaders in the field of informatics and managed care — where Zemplee is revolutionizing the industry.

Dr. Joshua Smith is a healthcare expert and community advocate with more than fifteen years of experience in the industry. He is the founder of The Medical Group of South Florida, Inc., one of the largest privately owned multi-specialty practices in South Florida, and Radiant Medical Group, LLC., a managed services organization specializing in managing Medicare Advantage risk for Health Insurance Carriers in the state of Florida.

“I am excited to join the Zemplee Board of Directors and work alongside a group of distinguished healthcare experts committed to improving access to and quality of healthcare,” said Dr. Joshua Smith. “With Zemplee’s innovative technology, we can break down the barriers to delivering quality healthcare to the elderly, while improving their quality of life and continue to shape the future of the healthcare industry,” he added.

Dr. Daniel Edelman is an Internal Medicine physician who has spent the last decade supporting medical informatics and population health. He is also an accomplished chief medical information officer and was privileged to help create Martin Health System’s first Accountable Care Organization in 2018. In 2021 he was named Chief Medical Officer for Population Health for Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, Florida.
