With the grace and blessings of The Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (SPH) Nithyananda Paramashivam, the Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA hosted the Virtual Global Peace Conclave and the KAILASA Om Award Ceremony on the occasion of the International Women’s Day 2022, in collaboration with the Department of Human Services and SHRIKAILASA Uniting Nations (SKUN) for Feminine Empowerment and Gender Equality.

During the live Presidential address, The SPH Nithyananda Paramasivam revealed that the Hindu tradition not only gives equal rights to women, but reveres, honors and above all, worships women, who embody the feminine consciousness. He explains that, in Hindu tradition, everything worthy of worship is named in a feminine expressive way. The Earth itself is called Bhuma Devi.

The SPH further explains how Hinduism has a separate Sampradaya (tradition) called Shakta sampradaya, which worships feminine energy and which worships the highest source of the universe in the form of woman.

On this very important day for women around the world, the Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA, under the guidance of SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam, was pleased to award and reward many prominent accomplished women leaders and dignitaries, from six (6) countries, who contributed to the world in various fields.
The SPH Nithyananda Paramashivam personally conferred the KAILASA Ratna Mani Award, KAILASA’s Highest Civilian Award to Her Royal Highness Princess Dipuo Mokola Mthembu Toto Seboko, Head Princess of the Batlharo Kingdom and President of the South African Royal Kingdoms Organization (SARKO), as well as the KAILASA Bhushan Award, conferred to those for their extraordinary contribution in arts and culture, to Ms. Lauren King, actress and highly respected member of the design community, United States.
The KAILASA Mitra Award, conferred to individuals for their dedication to cultivate a long-lasting friendship with KAILASA, was awarded to Sister Uma Deonath, representative of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual Organization, Trinidad and Tobago.
The KAILASA Devi Saraswati Arts and Culture Award was conferred to:
- Ms. Zvezdana Mlakar, Film and TV actress, and member of the Slovenian National Theater for more than 30 years, Slovenia.
- Ms. Urša Drofenik, Fashion designer who uses her creative touch & fashion to support women’s expression of their uniqueness and femininity, Slovenia.
- Ms. Panmela Castro, Artist who uses art to raise awareness about women’s rights, Brazil.
The KAILASA Devi Mariamman Health Science Award was conferred to Dr. Reena Johar, Founder of Vishwa Hindu Jyoti and President of Disha Darshan, a non-profit organization which helps South Asian abused women, United States.
The KAILASA Bhudevi Earth and Environment Award was conferred to Professor Anne Poelina, Co-Chair of Indigenous Studies and Senior Research Fellow Nulungu Institute, University of Notre Dame, Australia.
