Heidi Lowe Hosts Four-Hour Workshops Where Couples Can Create Their Own Perfect Wedding Rings

“Your most special piece of jewelry is in the making.”
Create the Perfect Wedding Ring in Just Four Hours

LEWES, DE – The perfect ring is the quintessential element of any wedding, but unfortunately, that means finding that one, a special ring can be a difficult task, to say the least. Putting aside elements like price and design, the ideal wedding ring should carry a special significance to those who wear them, and that’s not something that can be bought at a store. Does it really have to be this way? According to a master jeweler and designer Heidi Lowe, it doesn’t!

Heidi is a master jeweler who received her MFA with a concentration in Metals & Jewelry from SUNY New Paltz in 2002. After moving to New York City, she became an assistant director at Leo Koenig Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Chelsea. In 2006, she opened the Heidi Lowe Gallery exhibiting contemporary art jewelry.

To this day, the gallery hosts six exhibitions a year, including solo and group shows by internationally recognized artists—as well as functioning as her own teaching space and studio. Her style draws on intuition and the history of metalsmithing and shows her work within her gallery as well as at other galleries across the United States. Lowe’s solo show, Lineage, was shown at Ombre Gallery in Cincinnati in 2017 and Amend, at Rehoboth Art League in 2019.

Now, Heidi is offering alternatives for soon-to-be newlyweds in the best possible way: She’s offering workshops for couples to create their own perfect wedding rings! These specialized, four-hour workshops are specifically designed for couples who want to create their own wedding rings, avoid the stresses of “The Search,” and create a perfect, special symbol of their bond—together. Whether participants are completely new to jewelry-making or have a good amount of experience on their own, there’s room for everyone in her workshops.

“We know how important this day is to you and we will guide you every step of the way,” she says. “During our fun and creative session, you will make variations to customize your rings to create the perfect design. We believe wedding rings can become an even bigger, more meaningful part of your wedding story and this experience does just that!”

This workshop allows couples to put their heart and soul into the ring-making process, creating symbols of their love to be cherished for decades to come. More often than not, every couple who creates their rings together are so excited to try them on that they wear them on the way out! As an added bonus, all of the metal used is 100% recycled—just another great element of this one-of-a-kind experience.

Beyond custom wedding rings, Heidi offers classes—both in-person and virtual—for all kinds of custom-made jewelry, including bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other one-of-a-kind heirlooms! She hosts group lessons and private lessons for children and adults alike. On top of it all, she works as a business coach for entrepreneurs looking to develop their creative businesses!
