Embracing the Gaming Lifestyle with the Hiphop Gamer

Gerard “Hiphop Gamer” Williams and how he pioneered the gaming culture

Men usually have an affinity with playing video games. Their enjoyment for the craft usually starts at a young age and eventually evolves into a passion. The Hiphop Gamer started on this very same premise, which dates back to Gerard William’s first video game when he was four, special thanks to his Hiphop Granny.

After launching his first Youtube video way back in 2007, Gerard has eventually developed a small fan base and was continuously producing one video after another. Known as the Hiphop Gamer, it was through the recognition of Torrence Davis, E3 Veteran and former owner of, that changed his life forever. Hiphop Gamer would not be the renowned brand in the gaming media today if it weren’t for the chance given to him by Torrence to attend E3.

Besides gaming, Gerard expanded his passion to rapping. He used this medium as a way to express himself and kept his head held high as the Hiphop Gamer that he is. Fueled by his love and passion for gaming, Gerard has also ventured into philanthropy, by working together with the founder and CEO of Craftkeepers Inc. to teach scholars about bullying.

No other gamer comes close to this Hiphop Gamer. Visit his Instagram at or his website at to know more about him.
