Unfortunately, while many parents are supportive of who their children are, they lack the resources they need to help their children get through some of the toughest roadblocks. Elevations RTC wants to create a safe place for parents of LGBTQIA kids, which includes family therapy and parent support groups.
Every parent takes the news differently when their child is ready to come out as LGBTQIA, but the most important thing is to be there for your child at the end of the day. The Elevations RTC staff wants to help parents work through their feelings and have healthy discussions about their child and the LGBTQIA community.
