He can best be described as a dynamic, results-driven leader, who has demonstrated success throughout his entire career. Dr. Chadsey is the author of the dissertation, “An Automated Quality Control System for Cesium Beam Frequency Standards”.

Before beginning his professional career, Dr. Chadsey earned his Bachelor of Science from Centenary College in 1982. Dr. Chadsey has an impressive repertoire of positions including his 19 years of service (1985-2004) with the US Naval Observatory and service to the U.S. Coast Guard as a timing and clock adviser. His efforts and projects also involved the studies of atomic frequency standards, GPS timing, and precise time and time interval issues. In 1997 he served as the President of the Northern Virginia Radio Control club.  He was involved with the Project Management Institute, El Karubah Shriners, and judging local and regional science fairs. We are looking forward to meeting him and celebrating his success with him at the gala.”

Looking back, Dr. Chadsey attributes his success to his perseverance, his passion for physics and mentors with whom he has had the honor of working alongside. When not working, he enjoys building and flying remote control airplanes, motorcycle riding, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Chadsey hopes to encourage others to choose a career related to science and engineering.  He will continue providing his expertise any way he can to the industry.
